CH4K goes to High School…

 

Franklin High School’s College & Career Readiness Fair was held on Friday, April 18, 2014 in Franklin, VA.  I was able to represent CH4K to the 9th – 12th graders.  I drew in the kids with the Princeton hoodie that one of them would receive that day.  Over 80 kids came by my table to receive the information I was sharing on the benefits of college and nontraditional careers.  While at my table, they each filled out a ticket for the Princeton hoodie.  At the end of the event, a 10th grader was the beneficiary of the Princeton hoodie – the #1 University in the Nation in 2013.

 

Another benefit to CH4K besides giving out a college hoodie, is that we also got a shout out in the local paper, “The Tidewater News” – Awesome!
