OUR MISSION
The mission of College Hoodies 4 Kids is to clothe both minority and low-income kids (tweens & teens) in college apparel. This mission addresses two of the most important factors in determining the future success of a child.
Self Perception
Dressing children in college apparel changes the perception that they have of themselves. Instead of hopelessness, they start setting goals, their schoolwork improves and they start thinking about their future.
Your Perception
Dressing children in college apparel changes the perception that you have of them. You could be the teacher, the parent or the casual observer but the college apparel signals that this kid has a future.
OUR VISION
The vision of College Hoodies 4 Kids is to have a nation of children that use their clothes to signal their future to the world: My life matters! Don't harm me!
On the Street
Kids are standing on the side of the street wearing the apparel of the college that they have researched, chosen and are actively preparing to attend (or not attend, but still have a great future ahead).
In the Classroom
Kids are spending their in-school time researching colleges and preparing to apply. Time is invested in the kids and the kids are investing, rather than wasting, their time.
At Home
Kids are subconsciously setting goals, changing behavior and looking forward to a great future.
