1.  Will you take apparel besides hoodies?

Yes, we recognize that hoodies may be to warm during the warmer months, and college t-shirts, etc. could also help spread the message.

 

2.  Will you only accept Youth apparel?

No, because our focus is tweens and teens, we need both youth and adult size hoodies and other apparel.

 

3.  Will you accept gently used apparel?

Yes, we want these kids to know they are worth the best so we would appreciate it if it is truly gently used.

 

4.  Does it matter which university or college the hoodie comes from?

No, we desire to have hoodies from different colleges and universities from across the USA.

 

5.  Will you accept apparel from colleges that also feature sports?

Our preference is for the college or university logo only.  We do not want to distract with a sport being featured.

 

6.  Will there be any cost to the kid who receives the hoodie?

No, all we are asking is that each child emails us to let us know something he or she has learned about the college or university from where their hoodie came.

 

7.  Do I have to purchase through your website or the college bookstore?

No, you can purchase by any means that works best for you.

 

8.  Can I contact my favorite college bookstore and ask if they will donate?

Yes!  We can provide you with a sample letter if you like.  You can also just give them our contact information.

 

9.  Is $35 the minimum amount of a donation that you will accept?

No, we will accept any amount of funds and if it does not purchase one hoodie alone, the funds will be combined with other CH4K donations and hoodies will be purchased.

 

10.  Are you a 501(c)(3) or a non-profit?

We are not and current donations made are not tax deductible; we are considering the 501(c)(3) status so that future donations will be tax deductible.

 

11.  Can I use PayPal or a credit card to send a donation?

Yes, please see the Donate button on our Home or How Can You Help Page.

 

12.  Can I write a check to make a donation?

Yes, please make the check out to Kingdom Living Day by Day, LLC or KLDBD.  KLDBD is the company that founded the program, College Hoodies 4 Kids.  All CH4K donations will be for the sole use of the CH4K program and purchasing hoodies.
